She got her cake... and ate it too!!

Ellies 1st birthday party was a hit!!!  She had lots and lots of people she loves there (although, some were very missed).  Highlight of the night was her diving into her cake.  Her face was covered shortly after blowing out her candle, even before we could get her clothes off.  Thanks for everyone that came and helped.  Ellie says thanks for all the fun toys!!!
No question this girl likes chocolate!!
What can I say she's a chip off the ol' block

Look who's one!!

It seems cliche to say this because its what everyone says but.... It goes by way too fast!! Ellie is 1 today- where did the last year go?? Our little Ellie is so much fun, she just jabbers, loudly, all day long. (Even in bed while she is falling asleep) She is not walking yet but she defiantly gets around fast! She is so fun to play with and so easy to make smile and laugh. Last year at this time I could of never known how much she would change my life, and just how much I could love her. Here are some pictures from her 1 year old pictures... as you will see she did not cooperate. We got no smiles :( . Two days later we found out she had a sinus infection, Roseola, and getting 5 new teeth! No wonder.... but no worries a little bubblegum antibiotics and some tylenol and our Ellie is back!

Triple Digits!!!

I am soooo lucky to still have my Great Grandma Starich, and today she turns 100!! She has lived through so much its amazing! When she was born in 1911 there were no cars, no airplanes, no computers...... you get the picture. She has been such a fun grandma, we would always stay at her house when we were kids and stay up late drinking coke and playing cards. She would stay with us a lot and watch us when our parents were gone. I used to love when she would take me shopping for fabric and she would make me clothes (mostly skirts). Even for my mission she made me a good majority of my long skirts since they were hard to find. She is just incredible and can still make you laugh at 100. I love you Grandma!!

I think its incredible that Grandma gets to know Ellie her Great Great Granddaughter! Ellie is almost 1 and Grandma is 100..... 99 years apart!!
